Synthetic Grass - Artificial Grass is produced because of the limits of use of natural grass. However, the first-generation artificial grass carpets were not particularly suitable for playing soccer. For this reason, the first-generation artificial grass was not allowed to be laid in the field for professional or international soccer matches.

With the introduction of synthetic grass- artificial grass carpets woven from polyethylene yarn, filled with rubber granules, synthetic turf- artificial turf has also begun to be used in soccer fields quickly.  With a decision taken by FIFA, the use of synthetic grass - artificial grass was approved on soccer stadiums, including all UEFA standards matches, along with the 2004-2005 football season, and all official and international competitions. Nowadays, the interest of synthetic grass continues to increase, it is increasing rapidly in decorative use as well as sports use.
